The final countdown has arrived. We have our travel approval for our embassy appointment on May 12, the special day when we will finally have the joy of meeting our beautiful little girl!
So we are now working on our trip; we plan to travel in Ethiopia to take in some sites the week prior to meeting BabyHughey. It looks as though our departure will be May 3rd. The flight takes almost 24 hours, flying direct with one stop.
There's no shortage of stuff to take care of before we head out. I will be taking 12 weeks of maternity leave, so I've got to prepare at work for my absence--along with planning the trip, packing a bag for the baby, along with getting things in place at home.
Please keep us in your prayers. You probably won't be hearing from me for a while!
