On-the-go

So far this summer, we've been to my folk's house, my aunt's house, my in-law's house and most recently, my college roommate's house--all in the span of about 7 weeks time! And this coming weekend we are going on a family vacation with Joel's side of the family. Maybe after that we'll settle into a new kind of normal, but for now, we've got a bit more summer fun to come! Rebekah is losing her baby chub. Just in the past several weeks, her legs are looking longer and leaner. We've talked about putting her in a regular bed, but I feel like it's just a sign that our baby is growing up. Maybe we'll wait until we actually are well into our next adoption and get a referral before we make that transition. : ) Tonight we spent over an hour listening to Laurie Berkner's music, along with Baby Beluga, over and over and over. Endless hours of free entertainment.

Recently a friend invited a friend of hers over to teach me some hair care tips for Rebekahs' growing curly locks. I learned how to use the little rubber bands that have the beads on them which help to put her hair in ponytails without pulling her hair.
